Peach Sangria, Please
The sun stayed out a little longer this weekend. The grill was lit, candles flickered on the outdoor table, and everyone slowly made their way in—carrying chips, homemade salads, fresh-cut flowers. We kicked off BBQ season a couple of weeks early, and I wanted something simple to greet our guests as they arrived.
So I made peach sangria.
It’s the kind of drink that instantly feels like summer. Crisp and refreshing, lightly sweet, and pretty in the glass. The kind of welcome that invites people to slow down, settle in, and stay awhile.
I poured it into a clear pitcher and added a mix of fruit—green grapes, crisp apples, and a handful of our Current Season orange crisps. They added just the right touch: fragrant, citrusy, and beautiful to look at. Later this month, I’ll add fresh peaches too, once they’re fully in season.
We sat on the porch as the sun dipped low, glasses in hand, and the soft sounds of conversation and music filled the evening air. It felt easy, unhurried. Exactly how I want this season to feel.
If you’re hosting a gathering soon—or simply want to elevate a slow afternoon with friends—this is a lovely place to start.
Peach Sangria Recipe
• 1 bottle Sauvignon Blanc
• 1 cup peach schnapps
• 1 cup peach nectar
• 1 liter sparkling water
• Fruit of your choice (we used green grapes, apples, and our shop’s signature orange crisps)
Stir everything in a large pitcher, let it chill, and serve over ice. Add fresh peach slices when they’re in season.
It’s a little thing, but it sets the tone. A small, pretty detail that turns ordinary moments into something memorable.
And if you’d like to make it extra special, you can find our fragrant orange crisps in store—they’re lovely in cocktails, mocktails, or simply tucked into a jar on your counter.
Here’s to the start of the season, and to slow evenings that stretch just long enough.
